This copy, contains all the errata present with a 'true first' edition, and once belonged to a member of the Foyles family (the bookshop in London). The prior owner signature at the front of the book ‘Mrs Batty’ is actually Christina Foyle, daughter of William Foyle, the founder of the famous bookshop. An important book, with its own fascinating history.
